Based on the available potential and ongoing activities at Isfahan University of Technology and also the extendable grounds in Nanotechnology, the “Center of Excellence in Nanotechnology in Environment” was established in 2005 by seven faculty members of this university.

The movement of this center have been in the same direction with local and national macro development programs, and since the establishment of the center, some important activities in the different parts of research, education, and culture have been done by the members of the center.
